BenchDispatch helps you fill urgent shifts fast by texting a pre-vetted pool of available workers in Toronto/GTA.

How does it work?

1. You submit a shift request (date/time, area, address, role).

2. We broadcast it to matching workers immediately.

3. Workers reply YES, and we confirm the best match with you.

What Is a Broadcast?

A Broadcast is a targeted shift alert sent to matched workers by tier.

Each broadcast follows a structured escalation process to prioritize reliability before widening availability.

🏅 Round 1: Your Preferred Workers (Priority Attempt — Contacted Twice)

Your most trusted and highest-performing workers are notified first.

If no one accepts within the response window, a follow-up reminder is sent to the same group.

This ensures:

• Continuity of care

• Familiar staff

• Minimal onboarding disruption

Only after two priority attempts does the pool expand.

🥈 Round 2: Your Extended Network

If the shift remains unfilled, the alert expands to qualified workers who:

• Have worked with your agency previously

• Meet compliance standards

• Remain available for shifts

This widens coverage while maintaining quality control.

🥉 Escalation Layer (If Required)

If the shift is still unfilled:

• Backup workers may be notified

• Bonus incentives can be offered

• Agency coverage becomes the final option

All attempts are time-stamped and logged.

How fast is it?

Most requests are submitted in under 3 minutes. Broadcasts go out within 60 seconds.

Do I have to text you or use the form?

Use the form whenever possible (it captures everything accurately). If it’s urgent and you can’t access the form, you can email us with the facility name + date/time + address + role.

What info do you need for a shift request?

Start time, end time, area, exact address/intersection, role, pay rate (if applicable), and any must-have notes (parking, dress code, unit, etc.). No clinical details.

What types of roles do you cover?

Use whatever roles you list in your form (e.g., PSW, RPN, RN, Housekeeping). If you don’t see a role, pick “Other” and specify.

How do workers respond?

Workers reply YES by text. If multiple workers reply YES, we prioritize the best match based on area/availability/reliability.

What if nobody replies?

There are two rounds alerting highly qualified workers for the request. Your shift request goes to a larger range of workers that may not exactly fit the criteria desired. Backup workers and your agency are the last resort.

Do I choose the worker?

You stay in control. We’ll send you the confirmation/update once a worker is confirmed.

What areas do you cover?

Toronto + GTA. You can select your preferred areas during onboarding so we route requests correctly.

What add-ons and overages are available in Standard+?

The ability to purchase extra broadcasts and worker slots per month.

• Extra broadcasts: $15 per 10 /

• Extra worker slots: $25 per 25

What happens when my trial ends?

We’ll text you 48 hours before your trial ends to choose a plan. If you don’t pick one, new broadcasts stop (your data stays).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No long-term commitment.

Is there a minimum worker pool size?

No, but bigger pools fill faster. We can help you build your pool via worker onboarding links.

Do you store clinical/PHI information?

No—operational scheduling info only.
